Description
The building in Art Nouveau style was built in 1890. It was the first cinema in town.
The property must be totally renovated and can be used as a cinema again or as any other kind of commercial building according to the will of a new owner.
There are three wings of the building.
The first wing consists of a cinema of two levels and a service area.
The second wing is an old house that develops on two levels with an apartment on the first floor and a commercial space on the ground floor.
The third wing has only the external façade.
The property is located in the central area of the town in the Province of Syracuse, Sicily, Italy. The town is in 32 kilometers to the southwest of the city of Syracuse at the foot of the Iblean Mountains. The population is more than 20,000 people.
The town is famous for its fine buildings of the early 18th century, many of which are considered to be among the finest examples of the Sicilian baroque style. It is a place of many religious buildings and several palaces which attract tourists from all around the globe. In 2002 the town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
