The complex is located above the valley where the town on San Gimignano stands, a cultural and natural UNESCO World Heritage City, characterized by medieval towers and immersed in the green Tuscan countryside, now a place of elite international tourism The town stands with the outline of its towers on a hill (334m high) in Val d’Elsa, in the province of Siena, a region also known for the production of oils and excellent wines such as Chianti Colli Senesi, Chianti Classico, Colli dell’Etruria Centrale, San Gimignano DOC, Vernaccia di San Gimignano (the latter cited in the Divine Comedy) The Tuscan hills, the proximity of the main cities of Italian art such as Siena, Florence and Pisa, the wine routes and Via Francigena, as well as the thousands of interesting corners, make this a unique region in the world. The master villa (1,820 m² – 19,583 sqft, 16 bedrooms and 26 bathrooms) is the result of the restoration of the old convent and is today a boutique hotel. On the ground floor we find the common rooms of the structure, including three large dining rooms (one of which obtained in the church of the complex, now deconsecrated) with professional kitchen, the hotel lobby with reception, an office and several toilets. Going up to the first floor we find the section for guests with 15 bedrooms, all equipped with en-suite bathroom. Finally, the tower accommodates a suite with bathroom and relaxation area (whirlpool tub). At the center of the structure there is a wonderful arcaded cloister and, in the middle of this, a well. Just below, accessible from inside the hotel is the cellar of the complex, built within an ancient water cistern. Outside the hotel there is also a breakfast room (66 m² – 710 sqft) reserved for the guests of the structure. The guesthouse (188 m² – 2,023 sqft, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms) is structured on two floors as follows: — Ground floor: two bedrooms and two bathrooms; — First floor: two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Below the annex and the hotel, which are therefore connected, there are many underground rooms (for a total of 1,104 m² – 11,879 sqft) that include tool storage, refrigerating room for food, a gym equipped with changing rooms and showers, a local for loading/unloading goods and toilets for the employees of the structure. Around the structure in the hills of Siena, the magnificent park covers approximately 19,900 square meters, with a swimming pool and a car park.
