Dating back to the Middle Ages, this town consists of two parts: the old town, which is located on a hill, and the new settlement Podlabin, which makes walking the streets like a visit to the museum: the town gates date from the 15th century, the loge from 17th century, the lapidarium and the palaces are decorated with Renaissance details, and the baroque facades have the coats of arms of noble families. Due to such a rich heritage, Labin is the perfect destination for guests interested in cultural tourism and for lovers of antiques. We therefore recommend it if swimming and sunbathing are not the most important part of your vacation. From the top of the old town there is a beautiful view of Rabac and Kvarner.
