Location and nearby infrastructure
Pila is a village in the territory of Larnaka County. This is one of the four villages located in the Green Line — the UN buffer zone between the Greek and Turkish parts of the island.
The village is remarkable for being the only one on the island, where Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots live side by side. In the village there are three Orthodox churches and one mosque. Near the village there is the archaeological monument of Pila-Kokkino Krems.
