Nearby are many attractions:
Glienicke Palace — the former residence of the kings of Prussia and Brandenburg, Hofgärtnermuseum — Horticultural Museum, Sanssouci Palace — the summer residence of King Frederick the Great, which is under protection of UNESCO, Dutch Quarter with lots of cafes, pubs and artisan showrooms, Glienicke Bridge and Pfaueninsel Park.
As well as renowned restaurants: Fischerhütte, Arcimboldo and Villa Medici.
Lake Schlachte is located in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district, between the lakes Krumme Lanke and Wannsee, Grunewald in the forest park. The area around the lake is considered the most green area in Berlin. The trails along the banks have a length of over 5.5 km long and is ideal for jogging or walking. On the east bank is located Alte Fischerhütte — old hotel and a favorite resting place on weekends in the local population.
There are also some scientific institutions and different cultural centers, as well as the Schlosspark Theatre.
Schlachte District is one of the most prestigious in the city. Houses are surrounded by greenery, a few steps from the lake of the same name. Nesmotorya in the intimate atmosphere, close proximity to shops, supermarkets and medical centers.
Transport accessibility
Within walking distance is the station S-Bahnhof Schlachtensee rapid transit, offering easy and quick links to Schlossstrasse, Steglitz district, Potsdamer Platz in the center of the city and to the famous Kurfürstendamm, located in West Berlin.
On A115 route by car takes you to the center of Berlin in a few minutes with a lot of shopping centers, restaurants and cultural institutions, and moving in the opposite direction — to Potsdam and Berlin suburbs.
