The Kreuzkölln district is the most sought-after area in Berlin for people under 35 years old, specifically designed for people who are moving to Berlin to create start-ups, both foreign and local students, as well as artists and musicians.
Although Kreuzkölln itself is the official district, it covers the northernmost part of Neukölln and southern Kreuzberg. In recent years, a huge number of international eateries, bars and cafes have opened in Neukölln, which stimulated this growth and, in turn, the demand for real estate in the area.
The location provides easy access to public transport on the U7 and U8 lines on Hermannplatz to all parts of the city, and the green spaces of Volkspark Hasenheide and Tempelhofer Feld are located directly to the west.
