This beautiful house is located in the sunny and greenest part of Lake Como, the splendid area known as the Tremezzina. Surrounded by its approx. 2,000 sqm of well-kept garden, this property is south-facing and so has a lot of sun all day; two of its merits are the privacy and the tranquillity.
From the entrance to the house you go up to the mezzanine floor where there is a large double living room with a door leading onto the spacious terrace with its wonderful view over Lake Como and the fascinating little town of Tremezzo, a kitchen with a dining area, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
In the basement there is an entertainment area, a play room, a bathroom, a laundry room and a bedroom with its own door leading into the garden.
In the flat garden at the front of the house there is enough space for a swimming pool to be built.
The fascinating town of Tremezzo is considered one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy. Nestled between Lake Como and the Monte Crocione mountain, this hamlet is characteristic for its narrow lanes, its squares and its famous festivals that gladden the locals throughout the summer.
One of the most famous villas on Lake Como is in the municipality of Tremezzo, Villa Carlotta, which, with its botanical garden and its azaleas, attracts thousands of tourists every year.
There is no shortage of entertainment in the area: from the music concerts held in Villa Carlotta and Villa Vigoni to the famous jazz festival in the Parco Mayer to the classical aperitifs and brunches available in the local cafés in Parco Mayer or the typical small cafés under the arcades near the lake. Just a short ferry trip across the lake and you can get to Bellagio and Varenna on the other side. Tremezzo is about 30 km from Como, 30 km from Lugano and about an hour from the fantastic ski slopes in St. Moritz.
