Location and nearby infrastructure
The house is located in Umbria between Lake Trasimeno and Tuscany, with a magnificent view of the countryside and the surrounding medieval villages such as Castiglione del Lago, Paciano, Panicale and Cortona.
Castiglione del Lago is the main town on the west coast of Lago Trasimeno. Over the past few decades, it has become increasingly enchanting due to the wonderful climate and natural landscapes.
The house is just 1.5 km from Lake Trasimeno and 3.5 km from Castiglione del Lago with its beautiful promenade, typical restaurants and ferries to Isola Maggiore, one of three small islands in Lago Trasimeno with less than 100 permanent residents who live in houses of the 15th century.
