The property consists of a typical Tuscan farmhouse renovated in 2001 and measuring 252 m² with a further 2 annexes totalling 133 m² and a wonderfully panoramic swimming pool.
The farm itself extends to approximately 56 hect., part with a DOC Vineyard, the remainder with olive, fruit trees and general woodland.
The property consists of the main farmhouse of approx. 285 m² and two outbuildings totaling 133 m².
The buildings were renovated in 2001 in the typical Tuscan-style with local materials and with a willingness on the part of owners to create large openings to the outside to admire the unique landscape.
The house is situated on two floors; on the ground floor there is a large studio, a kitchen, a bright and cozy living area and bathroom.
On the first floor are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The floors are connected by a very unusual iron staircase and there is also a lift.
Adjacent to the main building, covering an area of 52 m², there is the foodstuffs production area, while detached from the main building is a second building of 80 m², currently used as storage.
A project has been approved for the construction of a 600 m² structure on two levels to be used as a store for machinery and products.
In a very private and secluded area enjoying spectacular views over the surrounding countryside we find the 6x 12 m heated swimming pool. The land, totaling 56 hectares, is divided as follows:
11.5 hect. of DOC vineyards, 1.5 hect. of olive trees, 1.7 hect. of arable land, 0.5 hect. of fruit trees and 38 acres of woodland.
In July 2008 the company began the process of converting the farm to organic production and has become fully ”bio“ since February 2011.
The farm produces:
- Red Wine Orcia D. O. C. The first harvest was made in 2009 and marketed in 2011;
- Olive Oil I. G. T. Toscano, distribution started in 2004;
- Conserves, including jams, marmalades, gelatine, aspic etc…
