The name San Felice probably comes from the Latin ”Sinus Felix“, which means ”happy bay“, located on the moraine hills in the middle of Salo Bay and Manerba Bay on the west coast of Lake Garda. A wonderful description that heralds the sweet beauty of this lakeside village with typical Italian charm. This area, known as ”Green Paradise“, literally captivates the hearts of those who love untouched nature, lush vegetation, olive groves and vineyards. San Felice, with its characteristic centre, harbor and picturesque coves, is considered the ”pearl“ of Lake Garda.
This splendid municipality includes the famous Isola del Garda, the largest island in the lake, owned by the Cavazza brothers, who opened the island for excursions and activities with the aim of making a unique heritage known.
For lovers of cycling, along the villages of San Felice del Benaco, Portese and Cisano, there is an 18 km cycle path.
Lake Garda also enjoys a privileged position: it is easily accessible from the Brenner motorway (A22), the Milan-Venice motorway (A4), and from the airports of Bergamo, Verona, Milan and Venice.
