A short walk from Oxford Street, there’s entertainment on both sides of York Street’s front door. To the left, the dining room has pendant lights and a shabby-chic table for eight, and the kitchen, next door, is eye-catchingly understated.
Head straight on for the decked garden, or downstairs and right for the third bedroom – which has an en-suite and a queen-size bed. Also on the right, there are comfy chairs in the cinema room, and colourful yoga mats in the spa, next door.
On the first floor you’ll find the second sitting room, which leads through to the formal sitting room. Corniced ceilings complement sash windows and a grand piano, and there’s a modern look to the cyan sofa and bright artwork.
Up again, the master bedroom has a tall button-backed headboard and an en-suite, and on the top floor is a bathroom and three more bedrooms.
All have pastel walls, from the mustard fifth bedroom (which has a pair of single beds) to the pink-toned second bedroom (with an en-suite and a king-size bed).
