    German law requires that payment for newly-build apartments are to be made in seven installments during construction

    • A buyer purchasing a newly built property in the middle or at the end of the construction period is to pay in all the previous installments at once.

    • The law prescribes that if the developer fails to complete construction, the buyer must be compensated in full for the payments made.
