About Emaar Properties
Emaar Properties is the UAE's largest property developer with a global reputation. The company was founded in 1997 in Dubai by Mohamed Alabbar, a businessman and economic advisor to the Emir of Dubai. The property developer was initially wholly owned by the Dubai government.
Emaar's most famous achievements are the construction of the Downtown Dubai area, which includes the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Dubai Fountain. Emaar has large construction volumes and many mid‑priced projects, with good products flying off the market very quickly.
