Hotel on the seafront in the center of San Remo.
Description
The hotel is in a historical “Liberty” style villa of 19th century that was built for a famous nobile family. The villa is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden with tropical plants of 4,000 m², swimming-pool and solarium area.
The hotel consists of 36 rooms on the second and the third floor. The average area of the room is 20–25 m³.
On the first floor there is a panoramic restaurant for 110 persons.
On the ground floor there are the storerooms (4 m high ceilings), on the first floor there is a hall, the restaurant, technical area; the second and the third floors consist of the rooms.
The villa was built in the middle of 1800 and was used as a private residence until 1950th.
In 1950 it was reconstructed, the upper floor was added and the villa became a hotel.
In 1970 it was reconstructed again, a reinforced extension was added. Further no renovation was made.
Currently, the hotel doesn’t work for 6 years and it needs to be completely reconstructed including the service lines and the roof.
It is possible to expand the area:
- By adding another floor level; the request to add another 18 rooms according to Liguria law #24 was made;
- By extension of the internal area for 35% according to Liguria law #49;
- Requesting the city hall of San Remo for introduction of modifications into the plan of the city development. It is possible to create and approve the new project in which the city hall in interested.
It is possible to acquire neighboring plot of land with the area of 2,500 — 3,000 m².
There is certificate of authorization for the hotel and the restaurant.
The property is located in the center of San Remo.
San Remo is a world famous Italian resort town on the west coast of Liguria. The city is located 25 kilometers from the border with France, in 2–3 hours by car you can get to Genoa, Turin and Milan.
A popular Italian song festival has been held here since 1951.
San Remo is often called the pearl of the ”Flower Riviera“ – greenhouses surround the city from all sides.
There is an elegant promenade with palm trees and numerous boutiques.
