Nai Harn Beach in Phuket: the best beach in the south of the island
Nai Harn Beach is a popular attraction for tourists visiting Rawai and the southern part of Phuket. It is also a favourite destination for winter visitors and expats living in Chalong due to its proximity.
Next to Nai Harn Beach, there are several hotels, including The Nai Harn, Wyndham Grand, and Sansuri. Additionally, there are popular villages with villas such as Baan Bua and Naya.
Saiyuan Road is the main thoroughfare connecting Nai Harn with the rest of Phuket. It is home to a variety of service businesses, including cafes, restaurants, shops, laundries, massage parlours, and hairdressers.
Residential development begins beyond this street, showcasing typical Thai housing as well as projects originally intended for tourists and investors. Recently, a new hub of contemporary living has arisen around the Saturdays Residence and Saiyuan Med Village.
Condominium complexes, where expats reside and winter visitors rent accommodation, are located in close proximity to Nai Harn Beach.

Property prices in Nai Harn Beach
Just 20 years ago, villas were the primary housing option on Nai Harn beach. Today, a two-bedroom villa costs at least 300,000 US dollars. Since the mid-2010s, the area has seen a flurry of construction of condominiums with small apartments suitable for short-term rentals. During the development phase, a studio or one-bedroom apartment can be purchased for less than 100,000 US dollars. However, closer to the handover date or afterwards, the price increases to around 150,000 US dollars.
Thailand, and Phuket in particular, has a very limited supply due to the terrain. In addition to the fact that Phuket is an island and the amount of land on it is limited, there are over 30 nature reserves and a lot of land devoted to agriculture. There is very little land left on which to build homes. Add to this the restrictions on the height of buildings, and it becomes clear that the amount of housing that can be built in Thailand is limited.
There is a high demand for housing among foreign buyers due to the limited availability of locations for new projects.
Tranio has a representative office in Phuket. Our managers and lawyers will organise a turnkey transaction without increasing the purchase cost.
