Barcelona: the best city to combine work and life
IWG surveyed over a thousand freelance professionals and found that more than half (57%) had extended their holidays in the past year by working remotely abroad.
IWG analysts compared more than 20 cities on the following criteria: climate, culture, housing availability, transport, food and drink, happiness levels, internet speed, and availability of places to work.
The results of the study showed that Barcelona is the best city for work and leisure. This city can offer a good climate, high internet speed, low housing prices and rich cultural life.
In addition to Barcelona, the top 10 also included Toronto, Beijing, Milan, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Amsterdam, Paris, Jakarta and Lisbon.
