Cyprus property market in August 2023: 4.5% more deals compared to last year

Tranio analysts have prepared a report on property transactions based on data of the Cyprus Department of lands and surveys.

In August 2023, buyers completed 1,391 property transactions, which is 4.5% more than in the same period in 2022 (1,331 transactions). Relative to July, the number of transactions decreased 12%.

The total value of property sold in Cyprus in August was estimated at over 307 million euro. The figure is 18% more than in August 2022. The amount decreased by 18% compared to July 2023.

Among the coastal regions of Cyprus, Limassol leads in terms of the value and number of deals, with 31% transactions on the island. The average value of a property transaction in Limassol in August 2023 reached 294,828 euro.
