Idealista reveals top popular non-coastal towns in Spain for foreign nationals to buy real estate
The real estate experts in Idealista made a rating of the top 20 small towns in Spain, located far from the sea and attractive for foreign property buyers.
According to the survey, the leader of the ranking is the municipality of Ciudad Quesada which is a non-coastal place. It has the largest number of requests from foreign real estate investors. Busot, a town in the province of Alicante, takes the second place. Residential area Ciudalcampo in the Community of Madrid ranks third.
El Verger (Alicante) ranks fourth. Fuente Obejuna (Cordoba) takes the fifth place. They are followed by Ojen (Malaga), Formentera del Segura (Alicante) and Palma de Gandia (Valencia). The top 10 list concludes with Viñuela (Malaga) and Montuiri (Balearic Islands).
The eleventh and twelfth places are Villalonga (Valencia) and Olivella in Barcelona. They are followed by Almogia (Malaga), Tanque (Santa Cruz de Tenerife), Algorfa (Alicante), Sineu (Balearic Islands), Turre (Almeria), Montroy (Valencia), Puigpunyent (Balearic Islands) and Moralet (Alicante).
