Istanbul's top 10 most attractive districts for foreign property investors revealed
In Turkey, Istanbul has become the city most attractive for foreign investors to buy property in the first 10 months of 2022. There were 21,252 transactions registered in the city.Istanbul is followed by Antalya (16,779 deals), Mersin (3,086), Ankara (2,437), Bursa (1,680), Yalova (1,518), Sakarya (1,129) and Izmir (1,059).
According to the CEO of the major Turkish property valuation company EVA, foreign nationals most often buy housing in such areas of Istanbul as Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü, Başakşehir, Avcılar, Kagytkhan, Bagcılar, Küçükçekmece, Büyükçekmece, Şişli and Fatih.

The CEO of EVA Cansel Turgut Yazıcı said that during the first 10 months of 2022 mostly Iranian buyers have invested in Istanbul real estate. Iran is followed by the Russian Federation, Iraq, Afghanistan, China, Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan, Egypt and Jordan.
