Key changes:
- Transition from a paper-based application system to a fully digital format.
- Automatic scheduling of biometric data submission appointments within 30 to 90 days.
- Applications may now be submitted in English, Spanish, or French without requiring translation into Portuguese.
Although Portugal ended the option of acquiring a Golden Visa through property investment in 2023, investors still have various routes available, including establishing a business, supporting cultural initiatives, scientific research, or investing in funds or existing companies.
