Spain is expected to receive more property investments in 2022

According to Idealista, Spain will be considered a main destination for investment in the real estate market. In particular, according to forecasts of Knight Frank experts, Spain will receive real estate investments in the amount of about 7,500 million euros.

Jorge Sena, partner at Knight Frank in Spain, predicts that 2022 will consolidate the growth in the real estate market. The country is a very attractive opportunity for real estate investment due to higher yields in the best areas than those of other countries. After the pandemic, the Spanish real estate sector is recovering rapidly, particularly in the areas of offices and residential, logistics, data centers. 

The study also includes key data on global capital flows in 2022, arranged by investor type and sector. The real estate experts expect that investments in European countries will lead to a recovery in cross-border investments. It is predicted that 2022 will be a record year for cross-border property investment in terms of volume.
