Thalang in Phuket, Thailand: the peaceful north of the island

The district of Thalang covers the northern part of the island of Phuket. Historically, it was primarily an agricultural area with a sparse population. However, it held great importance for the Thais migrating from the mainland as it was the only place where they could source food.
Thalang remains relatively underdeveloped, with ongoing efforts to expand residential and hotel infrastructure in the area. This process began in Laguna many years ago and is now spreading into the interior of Thalang. The north and northeast of Phuket have been less affected so far, while Bang Tao and Surin have experienced greater development.

Property prices in Thalang
Thalang has accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. The cheapest condos are near the northern beaches, such as Mai Khao or Nai Yang. A studio of 30–35 sq. metres can be bought for 100,000 US dollars. The price can be even lower if you sign a contract in the early stages of construction.
We only work with proven Phuket developers, those who have already completed several projects, efficiently rent them out and conscientiously fulfil their obligations to owners. These developers have successfully passed serious tests brought by lockdowns.
A villa of 300–350 sq. metres can cost around 350,000 US dollars. Prices are different in Laguna, Bang Tao, and Surin, which are considered the most prestigious areas of Phuket. Properties of a similar size in those areas can cost 1.5–2 times more.
Some Phuket developers offer buyers the opportunity to use their project as a financial instrument, in addition to rental yields. Essentially, by purchasing an apartment in a project without instalments during the earliest stages of construction, buyers thereby finance the project, and developers are willing to pay up to 5% annual yield on this capital, even during the construction phase.
This scheme is called pay back. It is a good way to get a double benefit: to buy an apartment at a more favourable price at the start of sales and start earning income even before the apartment is rented out.
