Cypriot economy will recover in 2021
According to in-Cyprus, the Minister of Finance Constantinos Petrides reports that Cyprus will be able to restore economic and employment facilities to positive indicators that existed before the pandemic. The National Recovery and Resilience Plan includes significant reforms and investments. It is indicated in a written statement on GDP growth rates in the second quarter of this year.
According to preliminary estimates by the Cyprus Statistical Office, the economy grew more than 12 % in the second quarter of this year, which is significantly better than expected.
The fields and activities such as hotels and restaurants, tourism, communications, wholesale and retail trade, entertainment, and arts have a positive impact on the development of the economy.
