Farm with vineyard located in a panoramic position in the countryside around Montepulciano. The farm includes a completely restored stone farmhouse from the 1700s of 600 square meters and 10 ha of land. 2002 was the year of birth of the vineyard as it is seen today. Located at an altitude of 400 meters. above sea level, has a microclimate that is affected by benevolent currents due in part still to Monte Amiata, in part to being on the border between two valleys (Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana): this involves fairly mild rainfall, a good temperature range at night/ day and excellent ventilation. With a vineyard area of ​​4 hectares, the entire cultivation is trained with spurred cordon with 6250 plants per hectare. The sloping location (remember that we are next to the Crete Senesi) and the East — West exposure constitute the ideal condition for the cultivation of the selected vines: Sangiovese Merlot Cabernet SauvignonPetit VerdotThe aging cellar, where barrels, barriques and tonneaux rest, is a constant air conditioning, also because it is dug into the tuff on which the farm is based. Here the wines are raised which, in the wood, will reach a greater complexity before being bottled. The production is about 20,000 bottles per year.
