The residential complex Handjery is located on the same-named street Handjerystrasse in a quiet and green locality of Friedenau that is well-connected via metro with Berlin’s vibrant and modern city centre. The house will feature 64 apartments with various floor areas. The price per square metre here varies from €7,300 to €8,500, whereas the average price per square metre in the new developments in the Mitte district is €9,810. The building is to be commissioned in June 2022.

The six-storeyed building will be a piece of modern architecture with an off-white plaster façade and spacious balconies. The apartments will be receiving an abundance of natural light coming through the French windows.

The ground floor is to accommodate retail spaces, whereas the first floor will be featuring green areas, and the sixth floor will be all about terraces designed exclusively for use by the residents.

Apartments, layouts, prices

There will be typically 12 apartments with a floor area from 43.07 sq.m to 95.08 sq.m on a floor, and the last floor will be occupied by four spacious four-bedroom apartments with a floor area up to 126.61 sq.m. There will be also 39.88 sq.m studios in the residential complex. Two speedy elevators will be installed to provide convenience for the residents.

The apartments will be fit out and equipped. The walls and ceilings will be covered with wallpaper and painted in white. The kitchens will be equipped with cooking ovens and tops, refrigerators, mixing units with faucets, dishwashers, and washing machines. The colour of the tiling and laminated flooring may be selected. A toilet, a vanity station with a wash bowl, and a shower will be installed in each bathroom. 

The developer has on offer one-bedroom apartments priced from €288,500 to €408,400 and two-bedroom apartments priced from €439,300 to €623,200. Four-bedroom apartments will cost at least €905,000. The prices of the most affordable studios start at €242,900. 

Location and transportation

The residential complex Handjery is located in the small locality Friedenauin Berlin’s administrative borough Tempelhof-Schoeneberg, a showcase blend of history and modern times merging the preserved exquisite mansions of the 19th century and today’s high standards of living. Handjery will be located on a quiet and green street in an area buried in verdure. 

Friedenauer Hoehe, a large project with several public parks, kindergartens, and a cycle lane is to be built near the residential complex Handjery.

Getting around Berlin from the complex Handjery is rather easy as the area of the complex offers good public transportation: the railway station Bundesplatz of Berlin's S-Bahn is within a two-minute walk and it would take nine minutes to get by S-Bahn to Kurfuerstendamm, one of Berlin’s major business and trade districts.

Private amenities

The developer dedicates the ground floor to retail, and the supermarket R.Z.D.H. Lebensmittel GmbH has been confirmed as one of the tenants so far. 

Although the project is a low-rise development, the building will be equipped with two noiseless elevators serving all the floors. The residents will be enjoying drinking delicious coffee under the canopy of the trees and even sunbathing — all within the private area of the residential complex in the dedicated green zones on floor one and the terraces on floor six. 

The residents will stay cocooned in the comfort and cosiness of the private courtyard far away from the busy city life. There will be equipped parking bays for vehicles and bicycles. 

Surrounding infrastructure

The residential complex Handjery will be located within a seven-minute ride by car from the department store KaDeWe. It will take 30 minutes to get by public transportation to the Brandenburg Gate and Tiergarten.

The nearby amenities within a walking distance from the residential complex comprise several schools, kindergartens, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacies, hair studios, beauty salons. 

The small park Perelsplaz is a great place for walking and jogging in the vicinity of the residential complex. There are other parks — Wilmersfdrof and Rudolf-Wilde-Park — within a seven-minute walk from the complex.
