Pyrgos village is the perfect example of Cycladic architecture with narrow cobblestone pathways, and, because of this unique structure, there are no addresses or street names.
Pyrgos is an inland settlement, located at the highest point of Santorini. It is the only ”untouched“ village of the island, especially the Castle area (Kasteli) at the top of the hill, is under the supervision of the Archeological Service and is protected as a Traditional Settlement.
