The English garden surrounds the property and is partly tiled and partly planted with 88 olive trees, numerous aromatic plants and kiwi trees. The eighty-ninth olive tree is located in the middle of the garden and is four hundred years old. From the property one can easily reach Bocca di Magra on foot thanks to an old mule track. The garden has recently been undergoing significant pruning and treatment (October 2020), with re-planting of the lawns, including some additional low-maintenance plants. The vibrant colors of the plants and the intense green of the lawn makes the outdoor area a truly suggestive spectacle.
The area in front of the property is covered by a beautiful stone porch under which there is an outdoor living area overlooking the Val di Magra. The landscape has received extensive improvement thanks to the elimination of some large trees (authorized by the Park). The view is now that of the original 1980s property with a stunning wide and unobstructed panoramic view of the Lunigiana Valley stretching from Sarzana to Massa and a full view of the Carrara marble mountains.
