Benitachell is a small town, the streets of which are an example of classical Spain. The town is located between Moraira and Javea. El Altet Airport in Alicante is about 100 kilometers and about the same distance to Manises Airport in Valencia.
Benitachell is loved for its mild Mediterranean climate, amazing muscatel wines and magnificent villas in the Moorish style. A large area in the city is occupied by orange orchards, lacy almond alleys and sunny olive groves. Cozy quiet lagoons are side by side with amazing rocky cliffs.
In the old town it is very nice to walk through the medieval streets, and also worth visit one of the local attractions — the church Iglesia de Santa María Magdalena. In May, in Benitachell, a beautiful authentic Spanish festival is held — the Festival of Roses. Benitachell is a great place for a measured rest and quiet life.
