The beach of Ayia Thekla is another oasis of tranquility in Ayia Napa, along with the beach of Landa Beach, where you can serene and in relative privacy sunbathe and buy. The name of the beach was given by the chapel of St. Fekla, which adorns with its bright and elegant blue-white walls the panorama of the shore.
The beach is sandy, but the entrance to the water is rocky. But, thanks to these bizarre stone formations on the bottom, Aya -Tekla fell in love with small fish, so here is very popular snorkeling — swimming with a mask. The beach itself is small — 300 m in length and about 25 m in width.
But the main attraction of the beach is a miniature islet, located just 50 meters from the shore, where you can wade and sunbathe.
