Location and nearby infrastructure

Via del Corso in Rome offers many advantages, including a wide range of shops and boutiques, making it an ideal place for shopping. The street also connects important squares such as Piazza Venezia and Piazza del Popolo, providing easy access to the city’s historical attractions. In addition, Via del Corso is an important historical artery that has deep roots dating back to antiquity.

The street was part of the ancient consular road Via Flaminia, built in 220 BC. In the Middle Ages, Via del Corso was restored and became the site of carnival horse races, which added to its popularity. On both sides of the street are many historical buildings and churches, such as the Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo and the twin churches of Piazza del Popolo. The street is also surrounded by magnificent palaces built between the 16th and 18th centuries, making it attractive to architecture lovers. Via del Corso is the center of Rome’s cultural life, hosting various events and celebrations. The street attracts both locals and tourists, creating a lively atmosphere. Thanks to its central location, Via del Corso provides easy access to other parts of the city and its main attractions. This makes it an ideal place to stroll and learn about the history of Rome.

      FAQs
      • How does the purchase procedure work?

The purchase procedure depends on the country where you buy property. Generally, after choosing a property you need to sign a preliminary agreement with the seller and carry out a due diligence of the property by checking the relevant documents and the property's technical condition. After that, all parties sign the sales agreement and the notary registers the transaction. As a rule, the purchase registration costs amount to approximately 10% of the property price.

      • Can a residence permit be obtained by buying property?

In some countries it is possible. Residence-for-property purchase programmes are known as Golden Visas programmes. Greece, Spain and Latvia offer the most popular Golden Visas in Europe. The Greek residence permit is the cheapest and can be obtained by buying a property worth at least €250,000, while organising all of the documents costs about €19,000. Certain countries offer citizenship to property buyers — for example, an investor can get their hands on a Turkey passport by buying a property worth at least $400,000.

      • Who guarantees the transaction security?

The transaction security is guaranteed by the notary who draws up the sales agreement and checks the information on the previous and current owners of the property, any outstanding restrictions, mortgage, and third-party encumbrances. Tranio is not responsible for the parties involved in the transaction.
