Kolašin is a small resort town located at an ideal altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level in central Montenegro. Situated on the upper reaches of the Tara, one of Montenegro's most famous rivers, it is surrounded by the Bjelasica, Sinjavina, and Komovi mountain ranges, as well as the century-old forests of Biogradska Gora National Park.
