Can a foreigner buy property in Brittany?

Currently, there are no restrictions for foreigners buying property in France. However, if you decided, for example, to buy apartment in Brittany directly from the owner, you may face encumbrances, difficulties in proper registration and an inflated cost (sometimes the price is twice the price that can be offered to a French citizen).

How long does it take to buy a property in Brittany?
